Q+A Maintenance

The maintenance manager is responsible for all aspects the Residence building and grounds maintenance and servicing which includes heating, cooling, ventilation, elevators,building repairs,plumbing painting, flooring, grounds keeping,.....everything.

The arrival of a new maintenance manager has resulted in welcome changes in building improvements and repairs. Removal of mould,long overdue repairs to missing plaster,repair and repainting of damaged walls etc.and installation of heating units in the shower/bathing rooms to provide adequate heating for residents while bathing/showering (and you wondered why residents were resistant to bathing?) have all been completed. Even those old duct tape repairs have been addressed ! New ramps for front door wheel chair access were installed this past year and new front doors installed (fall 2019). The old doors didn't meet code.
