Scheduled for Nov. 5 at 6:30 PM this information session (for residents,family members and staff) will provide some clarity and clear up confusion about what really transpires when a complaint is made to the Ministry of Health, what to reasonably expect from MOH, what the legislation does/does not cover,the difference between an "inspection" and "investigation" (MOH does inspections) and much more.
Be prepared for some surprises.

(Oct. 2019) "Moms and Tots" (New!). For those who've been patiently waiting, the popular program at other residences,"moms and tots" is now happening, mornings,each month, Check activity calender in elevators to confirm.

(Sept. 2019) After years (literally) of complaints about the laundry service - (ripped,stained,incorrectly sized bed sheets,etc.etc.) we finally are getting a new laundry service provider(HART). As recently as this month issues still persisted.We'll see....

(July 25 2019) Closed for a month, the Atrium has now reopened.Families can now take residents out to enjoy the back garden for the second half of the summer.

(June 2019) The dysfunctional wi-fi in the dining rooms has been corrected.The nurses should now be able to safely distribute medication to residents using the new Medisystems software without having to dance around the dining room looking for a "hot-spot". ( One small step for technology,one large step for residents' safety.)....and it only took 2 months to correct.

(May 2019) -Those large TV monitors displaying food menus ( except on floor 2 where they still don't work) have been relocated and are functioning.

(April 2019) Maintenance Forms- Requests for maintenance can now be taken using new forms available at the front desk in the lobby. Complete the form and keep a copy for yourself. A more effective but less publicised action is to call 580-2424 x29999.
